On Sunday, a mass demonstration was held against the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) at Maitighar Mandala, stating the metropolis has spread terror by running dozers on private properties.

The Valley-wide Road Expansion Victims Struggle Committee stated that KMC Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has worked against the favor of the people when he should be working as a representative of the people.

The committee leader Suman Sayami said the metropolis had been looting people’s private property illegally.
