Party leaders and activists protested in Kathmandu over the arrest of Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swotantra Party.
They gathered at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Saturday for the protest. The rally started from Maitighar, proceeded to Bijuli Bazaar, and then returned to Maitighar.
Lamichhane was arrested from the party’s central office on Friday evening and sent to Pokhara, with court orders, on charges of misappropriating funds in the cooperative case.
