PM Dahal returns to Nepal from COP-28

Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal returned today after participating in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28) held in Dubai.

The COP-28 conference, initiated in Dubai on November 30th, saw Prime Minister Dahal actively participating in a high-level session of the World Climate Summit, highlighting Nepal’s stance on climate change.

On December 2nd, he organized a high-level discussion under the title “Call of the Mountains: Who saves us from the climate crisis?” as part of the COP proceedings, promoting the agenda of mountainous countries.

In addition to engaging in bilateral discussions with various heads of state and government officials from different countries, Prime Minister Dahal had meetings with prominent global leaders such as United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the President of Cuba.

He also used this opportunity to address the Nepal-UAE Business Summit, encouraging investments in Nepal.
