KMC broomers, which hadn’t been operational since the contracts with the drivers had expired, have come into operation from Wednesday, 15th May, 2022. Earlier, KMC’s newly elected Mayor Shah had committed that the broomers would come into operation within three days.

On Thursday, the broomers were seen sweeping and c0llecting dust, while sanitation workers collected garbage to be transferred to the landfill station.
