A major road section above the Tukucha River in front of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City office has caved in, causing significant disruptions.

The collapse occurred last night on the road leading from Mahendra Statue at Durbarmarg to Krishna Pauroti Chowk in Kamaladi.

The sudden collapse has resulted in the complete halt of traffic along this crucial route since last night. Authorities are currently assessing the situation, and efforts to restore the road and resume normal traffic flow are underway.
