A team led by Dr. Lokvijaya Adhikari from the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center is in Jajarkot to study a recent earthquake.
Dr. Adhikari clarified it’s a new quake, not an aftershock of the earthquake in Bajhang district.
There have been four aftershocks with magnitudes from 4.2 to 4.5.
The initial quake caused 157 deaths and over 200 injuries in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim.
