The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) observed its 28th anniversary, known as KMC Day, in Basantapur, Kathmandu on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

KMC Mayor Balen Shah inaugurated the event in presence of Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol and Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan, KMC staff and other invitees.

Stalls showcasing cultural dress, food, ornaments and clothes were placed at the event. Similarly, KMC also had a photo exhibition showcasing various development activities taking place around the city.

Meanwhile, KMC had set up a free health camp that provided free medical examinations and medications for those in need.
