An organization representing those whom Cooperatives have aggrieved has been on a sit-in for 45 days in Maitighar Mandal and has held a rally from Maitighar Mandala to Naya Baneshwar. They demanded an immediate return and assurance of deposit interest. This resulted in a push-and-shove between the police and them. The police have taken nearly 10 people under control. One person was injured in the rally and has been taken to the hospital.
