Monarchy loyalists staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on Sunday demanding to repeal the constitution.

People belonging to various organizations gathered at Maitighar Mandala and marched to New Baneshwor with slogans demanding reinstatement of monarchy and Hindu nation status, among other things.

The demonstrators chanted slogans such as “King, please come back and save the country,” “We want the King,” “Repeal the Constitution” and “Declare Nepal as a Hindu state.”
