Min Bahadur Gurung offered bail of Rs. 2.5 crores

Kathmandu District Court has ordered the release of Bhatbhateni Supermarket owner Meen Bahadur Gurung on bail in the Lalita Niwas Case. A bail of NRS 2 crore 46 lakh has been demanded from him.

The order was given by the bench of Judge Bholanath Dhakal on Sunday, according to the court’s registrar, Kaushaleshwar Gyawali. Along with him, 16 other accused were also released on bail, and one with a court date for presence.

The case was registered on 27th August and centers around allegations of tampering with crucial government documents.
