Constituent Assembly Chair Subash Nembang no more with us

Subaschandra Nembang, the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and former Speaker, passed away due to a sudden heart attack. The distressing incident unfolded around 1 AM when Nembang suffered the cardiac episode at his residence. He was rushed to the T.U Teaching Hospital and was announced dead shortly after reaching the hospital.

Nembang, was a vice president of (UML) party. Notably, he presided over the Constituent Assembly in both 2064 and 2070. Nembang was also an elected Member of Parliament, representing the constituency of Ilam-2.
