The healthcare workers and government reached a six-point agreement on Saturday. Healthcare workers protested because of the recent assault on them after the death of Sukamaya Dura at Manipal Hospital.

An agreement has been reached to implement the Security of the Health Workers and Health Organisations Act 2010. The government has also agreed to prosecute those involved in attacks on healthcare workers as per the act and promised to find the main cause of such repetitive attacks.

Along with the agreement, the healthcare workers have concluded the protest.
