The Nepal Education Board (NEB) has introduced provisions for students wishing to correct details in their educational certificates including their name, age, and caste.
This initiative aims to rectify discrepancies in certificates issued for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and +2 levels, particularly for students who received their documents before the year 2075 BS.
For individuals seeking corrections in age, name, or caste, applicants must contact the respective examination control offices of the National Examination Board and submit essential documents while following the prescribed procedures outlined in the Age, Name, and Caste Correction Rules of 2017, Rule 6.
However, the revision of the date of birth on certificates issued before 2075 is currently on hold.
