Twelve people lost their lives in a jeep accident which occurred at Chhedagad Municipality of Jajarkot District on Monday afternoon.
The ill-fated vehicle, (registration number Karnali 2001 Cha 0429) was headed towards Lewa, Chhedagad when it fell 200 meters down the road from the Dashera cliff.
Nine people died at the accident site, two succumbed to their injuries en route the hospital, and one at the Surkhet Provincial Hospital.
