TU website hacked; hacker seeks justice for rape accused Sandeep Lamichhane

The official website of Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology (IoST) was hacked on Tuesday evening.

The form completion page for the entrance examination of B.Sc. CSIT, BIT and other programs under the institute were hacked by an anonymous hacker.

On those pages, the hacker was seen demanding justice for cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, who is currently in judicial custody on charge of rape. The hacker has changed the website content with “Justice For Sandip LC” message.

The pages also have roughly drawn sketch and writing which reads, “Hi zpz-win Here.”

The site has been restored back to normal and the form can be filled out now.

The entrance examination for the +2 completed students to join bachelor’s programs will be conducted soon by IoST for which the aspiring students will have to fill out the form.

The time to fill up the form is until Wednesday evening but students had trouble on Tuesday as the website was hacked.
