The student union of the CPN (Maoist-Centre) drew the attention of the Office of the Exam Controller of Tribhuvan University over the delay in publishing the results of undergraduate level.
The All-Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (ANNISU) submitted a memorandum to Tribhuvan University Exam Controller Pushparaj Joshi demanding to publish the results of the bachelor’s degree within a week.
The coordinator of the student union, Pawan Karki, has also warned the university authorities that a further protest will take place if their demands aren’t fulfilled within the provided time frame.
“The reason behind the results of the first-year undergraduates not being published, even after 16 months of the actual examination, should be clarified and the results should be published within a week,” reads the memorandum.
The education organization is risking the future of the students, accused ANNISU.
The student organisation has listed nine demands in the memorandum related to results publication, providing examination forms and transcripts through online medium, holding compartment exams at the end of the semester or academic session, among others.
The examination result of bachelor first-year, bachelor third-year, masters first-year, BA LLB has been delayed for an extended period and the students have lost a lot of time due to the delay.
