Saraswati Puja being observed today (Photo Feature)

Children and students were seen worshiping Goddess Saraswati and writing on the wall at Saraswati Kund in Swayambhu, Kathmandu today on the occasion of “Sri Panchami” also commonly known as Saraswati Puja.

The ‘Sri Panchami’ festival is being celebrated on Magh Shukla Panchami today by faithfully worshiping Goddess Saraswati all across the country.

Hindu devotees worship Goddess Saraswati as the goddess of learning wishing for enlightenment with knowledge and to get rid of lethargy, sluggishness and ignorance.
