Parliament members, staffers gets vaccinated

The government has started vaccinating Members of Parliament (MPs), House Speaker and other staffers of the parliamentary building as the next session of the House of Representatives is around the corner.

The vaccination drive for MPs kicked off today at the Civil Hospital in Kathmandu from 10:00 am.

House Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, Nepal Communist Party Chairperson (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NCP leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi and MP Purna Kumari Subedi, among other received the jab today.

More than 1,400 people, including parliamentarians, bouncers, and staffers entering the parliament building will be vaccinated ahead of the House meeting.
