Oli to seek vote of confidence on 21 July

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to seek a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives (HoR) on July 21, according to Mahesh Bartaula, the Chief Whip of the ruling coalition.

Oli’s appointment as Prime Minister was formalized by President Ramchandra Paudel on July 14, in accordance with Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Following his appointment, PM Oli took the oath of office and secrecy in a ceremony presided over by President Paudel on July 15.
