Number of COVID-19 infected climbs to 48 

The total number of people infected with the coronavirus disease in Nepal has reached 48. The 48th infection was announced yesterday evening.

The latest infected is a 26-year-old male from Bhojpur. His swab sample was tested at Dharan-based BPKIHS.

Similarly, a 14-year-old kid (male) from Janakpur and 55-year-old female from Udayapur tested COVID-19 positive yesterday itself.

Three people were also discharged from various hospitals after being cured of COVID-19. As of yesterday evening, 10 people had completely recovered from the coronavirus disease.
