The District Working Committee of Nepal Student Union, Kathmandu, has organized a warning program against the delay and mismanagement in the Melamchi Water Supply project.
In response, Melamchi River water diversion and the mobilization of construction professionals has begun after protests from Kathmandu residents.
According to the spokesperson of the Board, Rajendra Prasad Pant, an MoU signed with Sinohydro aims to complete the 28-day water diversion process in two shifts.
Previously, melamchi’s water supply was disrupted due to flood damage.
