Newly elected MP Suhang Nemwang takes oath (Photos)

Suhang Nemwang, recently elected to the House of Representatives, took the oath of office office and secrecy on Wednesday. The oath was administered by Speaker Devraj Ghimire during a ceremony held at the auditorium of the Agriculture, Co-operative, and Natural Resources Committee.

Nemwang secured his position as MP for CPN-UML in the by-election of Ilam-2, which took place on the 15th of Baisakh. This by-election was conducted following the passing of Subaschandra Nemwang.

In the election, Suhang won by defeating Nepali Congress candidate Dumbar Khadka with a significant margin of 5,830 votes. He obtained a total of 27,772 votes.
