Nepal registers two COVID-19 related deaths on Tuesday

As cases of COVID-19 are on the rise, Nepal registered two COVID-related deaths and 171 new cases on Tuesday.

The increase in serious cases of COVID-19 and the worsening air quality in the country has escalated the number of patients suffering from respiratory illness in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the number of active cases of COVID-19 across the country has reached 397.

Meanwhile, 8 infected patients are currently being treated in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) across the country and 4 others are on ventilator support.

With the rise in cases, the number of people showing up to receive anti-COVID vaccination has also increased in the Kathmandu Valley.

In the last 24 hours, 85 people have recovered from the virus.
