Narayanghat-Mugling road continues to be obstructed after landslide

Kathmandu, September 1

Narayanghat-Mugling road section continues to be obstructed as the clearing of the road stretch, blocked due to landslides, is taking time and bringing into operation.

The Chitwan District Police Office has estimated that it will take another 5-6 hours to remove the landslide that occurred at 5:50 am in Kerabari of Bharatpur-29.

Information Officer from the Chitwan DPO and Deputy Superintendent of Police Narahari Adhikari informed that they had a hard time removing a large chunk of mud from the road, resulting in the delay.

Efforts are being made to remove the landslide debris from both sides.

The road was also blocked yesterday morning due to landslides. During monsoons, landslides often block the Narayanghat-Mugling road stretch.
