The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced the initiation of free parking services on the first floor of the parking building adjacent to the Dharahara tower starting today.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajunath Pandey announced, “Previously, complimentary parking was offered at Kathmandu Tower (formerly the old bus park). In collaboration with stakeholders, we are set to provide parking services at the structure in the Dharahara area starting tomorrow.”

A 50,000-square-foot area on the first floor of the parking building near Dharahara will be open for free parking.
