The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), through its website, has started taking suggestions from the public regarding policies and programs regarding development works.

“The city is taking suggestions for making the policies and programs of the upcoming fiscal year 2080/081 B.S. based on citizens’ expectations. Those with ideas can share the measures and plans with the office via online system (https://esuggestions.kathmandu.gov.np/) or email mayor.sect@kathmandu.gov.np within 2023 May 23,” informed KMC spokesperson Nabin Manandhar.

The website has areas of recommendations including public construction, education, tax, health, social development, law & human rights, agriculture and so on.

KMC Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has been focusing on digital service provision from the metropolis to the people. Earlier, the city launched an app, ‘KMC Sewa Prabaha’, in order to provide online services and enable taxpayers to pay taxes via digital methods.
