Fourth death owing to coronavirus in Nepal

Another death has been confirmed in Nepal due to coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a 70-year-old man from Karaiyamai-7, Umjan of Bara died due to coronavirus infection.

He died on May 17 while undergoing Tuberculosis treatment at the National Medical College, Birgunj. His body was taken to Bara and cremated on the same day.

The man’s swab sample was sent to Kathmandu on sucpicion and test result came back only on Monday morning that confirmed he was coronavirus positive.
