Dr Govinda KC, who is on the ninth day of his fast-unto-death strike, is seeing deterioration in health.

A team of Nepal Army in a sky truck reached Dhangadi to bring Dr KC to Kathmandu but he has refused.

The team, along with Kailali Chief District Officer Kiran Thapa, held talks with Dr KC but he has refused to return Kathmandu for any treatment.

The doctors of Seti Provincial Hospital, where KC is currently being treated, said that he has developed stomach ulcer.

Dr. KC started his hunger strike from Dhangadi on 12th September 2022 due to the government not being able to fulfill his demands concerning equal health facilities across the nation.
