The District Court of Dhanusha has granted a three-day extension to investigate allegations against Kailash Sirohiya, the Chairman of Kantipur Media Group.

The extension was approved by Judge Churaman Khadka on Wednesday.

Sirohiya was arrested in Kathmandu on Tuesday in connection with a citizenship-related case and was subsequently transferred to Dhanusha. The police had requested ten days period for investigation. Meanwhile, the public prosecutor had asked for a five-day extension for the investigation.
