Clash between police and group led by Durga Prasai at Gaushala

A clash unfolded at Gaushala Chowk between Nepal Police and supporters of Durga Prasai today.

Tensions escalated as police deployed tear gas against demonstrators, who responded by hurling stones.

Several protesters were arrested as the conflict ensued after the main road was blocked.

Durga Prasai has been leading protests across Kathmandu since November 23rd.
