In an official statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration extended an invitation to local-level employees to engage in a dialogue aimed at addressing their concerns.

In response, the Local Employees’ Central Struggle Committee issued a statement, asserting that it is a conspiracy aimed at causing the movement to fail. They declared their intention to remain committed to the movement and refused to engage in negotiations until the negotiation committee will be officially established.

Additionally, the committee implored the employees to refrain from leaving the protest.

This is in response to the persistent demonstrations led by the local Level employees, which have been staging daily protests, spanning from Maitighar to New Baneshwor in Kathmandu.
Commencing their protest on October 2, these employees had suspended their regular official duties as of October 6.
