People leaving Kathmandu Valley in droves

People leaving the Kathmandu Valley for their hometowns ahead of a week-long prohibitory orders issued recently by the government as seen late on Wednesday.

Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts have implemented prohibitory orders from 6:00 am today to curb the rising spread of COVID-19.

Despite the COVID situation and health safety protocols demand that social distancing be maintained, doing so was not possible for people who have no option but to travel to their hometowns amid a crisis.
