Young climate activists staged a demonstration in Maitighar of Kathmandu on Thursday against the government’s inaction in curbing increasing air pollution across country.
They demanded the government to declare a public health emergency and take steps to minimize pollution.
Air quality of Kathmandu as well as other cities have reached hazardous levels, with authorities urging the public to stay indoors, due to raging wildfires in various forests throughout Nepal.
