Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), during its daily update confirmed the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Nepal has reached six.

The sixth casualty, a permanent resident of Bhumikasthan-9, Arghakhanchi reportedly died on Saturday, May 23.

According to MoHP, the man, a 35 year old was ‘returning from India’. However no further details upon his travel history, quarantine history, or the length of journey covered before passing away has been shared.

His swab sample was sent to a laboratory in Bhairahawa on Sunday, and his results came back on Thursday, 28th May. The body of the deceased is already buried by his relatives at Gachche, Sandhikharka.
