Birat Bijay Ojha (he/they) is a writer, artist, and communications professional from Itahari, based in Kathmandu. He founded Unicorn Chautari, an initiative dedicated to queer arts, culture, and community.

A third-place winner of the 2023 UNESCO Nepal Poetry Competition, their work appears in On the Brink of Belief (Penguin Random House India, 2025) and Songs of Revolution (2022). Birat’s bylines include The Kathmandu Post, Onlinekhabar, Feminism in India, Gaysi Family, Aawaaj News and Research, and Astray Project, and they represented Nepal at the Outburst Queer Arts Festival in Belfast in 2023.
