The Patan High Court has issued an interim order restraining the implementation of the immediate eviction notice issued to Bhatbhateni Developers Pvt Ltd.

This notice pertains to the occupation of government land at Lalita Niwas, managed by businessman Min Bahadur Gurung.

Judge Munendra Prasad Awasthi granted the interim order, preventing the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) from executing the prompt evacuation directive aimed at the Bhatbhateni establishment in Baluwatar.

The court’s decision came in response to a writ petition filed on behalf of businessman Gurung and his relative Sarla Ghale Gurung demanding an injunction order.
