16 people sustained injuries at Tudikhel during separate programs organized by the Magar and Tharu communities to mark Maghe Sankranti.

According to SP Kumud Dhungel, the incident resulted in 16 injuries, and the affected individuals were taken to the Trauma Centre at Bir Hospital for treatment.

The injured comprised individuals ranging from 11 to 40 years old, including a constable. The incident transpired when festival-goers experienced pushing and shoving while entering and exiting the venue.
