Jajarkot Earthquake: 64 killed, more than 150 injured, relief operations continue

On Friday night at 11:47 PM, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Jajarkot district.
According to the Nepal Police information officer, Gopal Chandra Bhattarai, the quake has resulted in 64 reported fatalities, with at least 150 individuals sustaining injuries from two districts. The earthquake has had the most significant impact on Rukum West.
The injured are currently being transported to receive essential medical care. The rescue work is currently underway.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed all three security agencies to actively participate in rescue and relief efforts.
