Crashed Manang Air Helicopter pilot passes away from injuries

Captain Prakash Kumar Sedhai, severely injured in a helicopter crash of Manang Air in Lobuche on October 14, has passed away.

Yograj Kandel, the spokesperson for the Airlines Operators Association, confirmed his death at the National Burn Center in Mumbai, India, where he was being treated.

Medical reports stated that around half of his body, including his mouth and limbs, suffered severe burns. His lungs, spinal cord, and kidneys were also affected, complicating recovery.

Captain Sedhai was flying the Manang Air (9N-ANJ) helicopter during the accident in Solukhumbu. The helicopter was completely destroyed in the accident.
