A man in Galchhi, Dhading has died during the course of his treatment after being stabbed by a knife.

Binod Thapa Magar, 28, a local resident of Galchhi was stabbed by the owner of the hotel where had gone for lunch on Wednesday evening.

The perpetrator has been identified as Neeraj Pandit, 28, the owner of Shandar Hotel in Nibuwa Bote, Galchhi. Pandit, who was absconding after the incident, has been arrested by the police.

Following the incident, the Galchhi-Nuwakot-Trishuli road intersection has been closed by the locals, demanding a fair and prompt investigation into the case.

Similarly, the locals have also torched a vehicle owned by the hotel owner Pandit.

Police informed that 4 customers present at the eatery during the time of the incident are also called in to help with the investigation.
