Ncell apologises for disrupt in service due to optical fibre link breakage

More than 16.81 million Ncell customers lost internet and phone call services briefly on Thursday morning after the services were abruptly disrupted.

The private sector telecom operator said that the services were disrupted due to a technical glitch.

In a notice issued by the service provider, it stated that the disruption was caused due to multiple optical fibre link breakages owing to Butwal-Bardaghat and Damauli-Abhukhaireni road expansion works.

Ncell has said that the network has been restored and all services have resumed while apologising for the disrupt in service.
