Nepalis evacuated from China to go home today as second test comes negative

The second lot of nasal and throat swab samples sent for lab test for coronavirus has come back negative. With this, those kept in quarantine will get to go home today.

As many as 175 Nepalis were rescued from Wuhan of China on February 16 and were kept in quarantine at Kharipati of Bhaktapur. They stayed at in quarantine for 15 days.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health Bikash Devkota informed the media that all evacuees tested negative for coronavirus and will be sent home today itself.
