A meeting of the three chief district officers of Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday had decided to extend the existing COVID-19 prohibitory orders for 12 days, until August 24, with a new restriction on the movement of vehicles.
As per the decision, all non-essential public and private vehicles are banned from the Valley roads after 8:00 pm Thursday onward.
