Garima is a news editor, writer, and student from Bardiya, Nepal. She primarily writes on social and political issues, with a focus on how socio-political identities shape lived experiences.

Garima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies. She joined Aawaaj News in 2023 and has since reported from various regions across Nepal, including Siraha, Chitwan, and Bardiya and Banke Districts. Her coverage spans critical topics such as Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), climate change, and major national projects like irrigation initiatives.

Garima is committed to thoughtful, responsible journalism and is passionate about stories that shine a light on pressing social issues.
