5th Annual Nepal Pride Parade celebrated in Kathmandu (Photo Feature)

Hundreds of people from the LGBTIQ+ community participated in the 5th Annual Nepal Pride Parade in Kathmandu, Nepal on Saturday, June 10, 2023, to celebrate their identities.

Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June and a Pride Parade is held on the second Saturday of June every year in Nepal.

People from the gender and sexual minority community celebrate this month to commemorate years of struggle for civil rights and the ongoing pursuit of equality for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community.
