Nepal Airlines Corporation’s (NAC) two out of its four international flight aircrafts have been grounded technical problems.

This disrupted the flight of 276 passengers scheduled to fly to Doha from Kathmandu yesterday. The flight to Doha has been re-scheduled at 7:45 PM today.

The affected flights include the 9N-ALZ A330 series wide-body aircraft, which had to be halted en route to Doha due to a flight control sensor problem.

A narrow-body aircraft from NAC has also been sent to Israel for repairs. Despite being grounded in Nepal for over a month, logistical challenges prevented the timely arrangement of an alternative aircraft, leading to the reduction in NAC’s international flight capacity by two planes.

This means that right now, NAC has only one wide-body and one narrow-body aircraft in operation.
