Two individuals are reported dead in the Minister’s vehicle fire incident in Lalitpur, Gwarko.
According to the police, they were injured in the protest; one of them succumbed to their injuries in Patan Hospital and the other person in Kist Hospital.
Their cause of death is not clear as of yet.
The vehicle of Prakash Jwala, the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, was set on fire today by agitated examinees at the EPS office in Gwarko.
The incident unfolded at the EPS office premises, where a group of examinees, aspiring to work in Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS) for Skill Building, took to the streets to voice their grievances. The protesters, demanding the opportunity to apply in the manufacturing sector as well, resorted to setting fire to Minister Jwala’s official vehicle.
The vehicle succumbed to the flames, resulting in complete destruction.
