Three people from Bara and Parsa districts are confirmed to have been infected with Covid-19. Two people from Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City and one from Chapkaiya of Birgunj Metropolitan City have tested positive for coronavirus.
The two from Bara have been kept in quarantine at Simara while the one from Parsa is being prepared to be transferred to the isolation ward of Narayani Hospital from quarantine at Birgunj-based Siddhartha School.
The trio were tested and kept in quarantine after being contact traced. They had come in contact with Covid-19 positive patients from Birgunj and Inaruwa.
Their swab samples were collected and sent to the Teku-based lab in Kathmandu for PCR test.
