Nepal police have arrested three employees of Nepal Mediciti Hospital located at Nakkhu, Lalitpur district on charge of swindling over Rs 26 million by producing fake receipts.
SP Nawaraj Karki informed that the employees would charge the patients actual fees but kept the fake discounted record of the fees by misusing the computer software.
The arrestees have been identified as Raghav Sapkota of Bhimeshwor-4, Dolakha; Sanam Deshar of Chapagaun, Lalitpur; and Aashish Aryal of Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
The Lalitpur District Court has granted permission to remand them in custody for five days, Karki said while making the accused public amid a press conference on Wednesday.
Further investigations into the case is underway.
