The police has detained three individuals, including family members and supporters of Aarti Sah.

The protesters, including Aarti’s brother Prem Sah, activist Jasmin Ojha, and Ravina Shrestha, were taken into custody by authorities for demonstrating in a prohibited area, according to SP Navraj Karki of the District Police Complex Lalitpur.

The detained individuals had sought to submit a letter of attention to the commission regarding Aarti’s case.

During the demonstration, actress Jasmin Ojha fainted, requiring immediate medical attention. She was swiftly transported to Alka Hospital, while two others were reportedly brought to the police premises.

The incident comes against the backdrop of ongoing protests led by the family of Aarati Shah, asserting that her death was not a suicide but a murder. Aarti Sah was found hanging in her house in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-9 on May 21st, sparking demands for justice.
